April '20 Monthly Update

1/5/2020

Hello to all. During March, a few articles were delayed, as was the next addition to Pokémon: Shadow Boom. These delays come with a reason. All of them will be delayed into May. For Shadow Boom, that allows the final few chapters to be spread out across the month, with the epilogue within June. For the articles, it’s simply a case of holding back some content for after Star Wars Month.

Yes, it is Star Wars Month once again, but this year things are a bit different. While there will be a Celebration this year, it is not in the month of April. Instead, the Anaheim 2020 Celebration is being held in August. That kind of makes it a Star Wars Month Part 2, but April will still be full of Star Wars content, as I’ve got some ideas planned for it.
With the final season of The Clone Wars currently releasing on Disney+, I felt it would be a perfect time to give my history and thoughts of the entire series during this month. I’ll also be doing my best to give my own outline of a sequel trilogy. This will be a singular article that will try to condense the major plot beats of the trilogy and the story arcs found within it to make it a worthwhile read (rather than feeling like a summary of all the events that happen).

Along with that, I’ll be looking at how Battlefront 2 has evolved since it released in 2017. I’ll be looking at the history of additions and changes, but don’t expect a full account of everything. As usual, this will be based upon my experiences with the game. And keeping with games, I’ll be looking at LEGO Skywalker Saga and some thoughts about it. This is set to be one of the best LEGO games we have seen, and my hype is strong.

Last years’ Star Wars Month showcased a video of my first time on Jedi Academy. I had meant to release an article at the same time the video went live, but chose not to as I felt I didn’t have much to talk about with it. Well, it recently released on the Switch, and I’ve progressed further than I had with the PC release. However, I can tie both Jedi Knight games on the Switch together in an experiences article, so that’s what I’ll be doing.

As for videos, there’s not a Battlefront video to start the month off. At least, not for the first of the month. It will come in the next few days, and be on the latest release. Tying into the Battlefront article of the month, all Battlefront videos will be on the latest release, looking at various areas of the game. Other videos will see a bit of a mess around on LEGO The Complete Saga, and a return to Jedi Academy, with Jedi Outcast also getting a look in.

There’s a few other unannounced articles mostly relating to experiences, but also a return to bringing out a few more ideas for games or expanding on those I’ve already given. This should be the largest Star Wars Month yet, even without a Celebration within in, so keep a lookout for the content throughout the month.
