- February ’26 Monthly Update

February brings about warmer temperatures, which is good for me getting out with my camera. First, though. In terms of articles, there is at present just three I have for certain. The first being experiences on Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. DQ7 was the first main series game I played back when it released on the 3DS. So to get a new version of it for a new console is exciting. Especially now I’ve played through the first three games.
The second is finishing off the crafting an RPG region from a local area series. The first two saw me create the upper half of the region, with this third being the lower half. Since it is smaller than the upper half, it makes sense to keep it confined to just one more part. And this part of the region holds a few hills, meaning I’ve got to mark them out in my usual way on the map.
Pokémon Day will hold another Presents, with this one certain to announce the Generation 10 games. And I’m also hoping the GameCube games get added to the Classics app after the presentation. And if I was really wishing for something, it would be for the old generations of games to make it in some form onto the Switch. If it was me, I’d expand Pokémon Home to be more than just storage for the creatures.
A story for Shorts of the Rula will come, timed for Valentine’s Day. There’s a few ideas I have, with the idea to once again have this be an adventure that a couple are sharing. Of course, that might not be the route I take, but it does give an idea for what I want this story to be. There’s also the potential for including a location I’ve used before in the story, providing an exploration of it in a less chaotic event.
So, yes. Getting out with my camera. January’s been a rough one with my breathing difficulties, including a bad constriction that left me weakened for a week. But, now I’m picking up, I do want to get out a lot more. There’s every chance I do take to the local hills with my camera to get some photos of nature. And I’m also hoping to get some of people, too. With a call for Star Wars cosplayers already out on my Instagram. So get in contact if you’re interested in being part of that.
