July is Racing Month, so there’s a number of racing games to be talking of and showing off. A new Nacon Connect will show off more about Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and perhaps some of those Life games, as well. Whatever is shown off that interests me, I’ll be talking of it.
There’re some more concept articles coming, expanding on ideas I’ve proposed before. Hopefully this time, I can get them out during this month. As for what they are, those two concepts I talked of during What I’m Waiting For Volume 10, when proposing wild ideas for what Nintendo and Microsoft could announce during E3.
For streams, I’ll be enjoying some more on the Switch version of Wreckfest, as well as revisiting a few racing favourites. The Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion is coming this month, so I’ll be featuring that. The second wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass should hopefully be in this month, too. Even if not, I still intend to feature Mario Kart at some point this month. No speedrun, though.
And yes, there will be a video. Or two. In the recent Switch sales, I’d found a kart racer that’s sure to delight. Rather than stream it, I felt it better to give it the video treatment to cut to the various parts of it. There was also a second game I’d bought in that sale that I’ll be giving the video treatment, but since it’s not a racer, it won’t be featured until next month.
If things pan out, I’ll be featuring a series of games across an article and streams. That series is Cars. There are three games that I’ve been able to grab that are playable on Xbox, so I’ll be giving them a stream. Whether individually or together depends on if I feel I can get enough out of them for 2 hours apiece, but I’ll be giving my thoughts on them with an article no matter what.
