There’s plenty of games to be looking at this month, so there’ll be a lot of reviews coming. Nothing that could be considered big, but certain games that I want to highlight having tried them out. Two of which are kart racers.
Now, you’ll probably wonder why I even considered booting it up, but one of those kart racers is PAW Patrol Grand Prix. I admit, when loading it through the cloud, that I wasn’t expecting much, but for a game that targets a young audience, it is a well-rounded package, and one I want to highlight.
The other kart racer is Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3. This one comes at the middle of the month, expanding on the previous two with added roster additions and a gimmick that is sure to add a bit of tactical choice to loadouts when setting out to race. I’ve not played the other two, so this will be an interesting first experience for this series.
As for the other three games, there’s Bunny Park – which saw a recent release on consoles having been first released on Steam two years ago, Train Life: A Railway Simulator – which saw an early access release on Steam last year and has now released to consoles, and a rather interestingly named one in An Airport for Aliens Currently Run By Dogs, which released last year.
All three share something in common, in that they’re a first for that label. Bunny Park was Cozy Bee Games’ first release. Train Life is the first of the Nacon Life games and Simeract’s first commercial game release. As for the last one that will be shortened to Dog Airport Game, it is the first to be released under the Strange Scaffold development label.
For streams, I’ll be showing off some of those mentioned above, to give an idea of what they’re about. Other racing games and simulators will be featured, such as Forza Horizon and Truck and Logistics Simulator (which I’ve been meaning to for a long time). The big one is going to be Farming Simulator. Every Thursday this month, I intend to return to the stream farm to make some good progress with it.
The idea behind the stream farm was to have it running for a year, visiting it bi-monthly to make progress with it and have something close to what I’ve got on my main save before swapping out to a new farm. November is going to be when I change things, so I want to at least get a bit more progress in before swapping farms through – you guessed it – a Feeding Cows For Christmas special.
Ever since I started with streaming, I’ve been doing a pastiche of the Jingle Jam Feed a Cow for Christmas streams every November. It’s what got me into the series, after all. This year, with a new map coming for the latest game, my intention was to get the stream farm set up to handle Feeding Cows For Christmas, run the special a week before the new map released, then hand over to that new map for the start of The Stream Farm 2023. Let’s see how I much I can get set up for it this month.
And speaking of the Jingle Jam, last month I released an article talking of the history of the event and the charities that the event will be supporting this year. For this month, I’m moving onto the community that makes the event such a special time every year. Comments from the community will be featured to talk about what makes the Jingle Jam a special time for them.
