Hello there! That dashing snapper in the banner is me, Christopher Searle. I’ve always loved photography as a way of capturing memories, so was usually the one with the camera on holidays when younger. In later years, I’ve still been with a camera when on holidays, along with taking them on adventures of my own. While mostly sticking to the local area I live, which has a great natural area, other places I’ve been have seen me snapping away.

In those recent years, I’ve been expanding my understanding of photography, gaining a great eye for ideas of shot composition. At times where I’ve not had my camera, I’ve looked at something like a bird on a roof and thought of how I’d capture it. With my latest camera of a Kodak PixPro AZ425 Digital Camera, I’ve had fun across the summer of 2025 within local natural area using it. Capturing the wildlife in ways I’ve not done with older cameras.

There have been several events I have taken cameras to across the years, capturing the action as it happened. A few of them I have written articles on, featuring photos from the day. These events posed interesting challenges, whether that be capturing fast action, or my first encounter with shooting in a dark environment. Check those events out with Crazy Ball Snooker Charity Event, Transplant Sport Football Tournament 2023, and vs Blues All-Stars – A Charity Football Match.

I’m wanting to explore more that the world of photography holds, so I’m looking to new avenues. While I can do so myself, it would be great for others to want to share in my exploration. And what better way to do that than offer my services to the world. Below you will find the best of my photography exploits, split across categories that will expand over time. Along with a range of photos taken using my older cameras in a section of its own.

Should you like what you see, and want to hire me for anything, you can reach me via messaging on any of my socials, or using the email of darkrulamedia@outlook.com. I will be happy to discuss the details of what you want me for. Just note that as a non-driver, I will be reliant on public transport and potential stay-overs should you be a far distance away.
