Even after saying how 2020 was the best year for me with this label and wanting to grow it further, you’d be forgiven for thinking I’d lost interest. Oh, I’ve still been streaming, but no videos and hardly any articles. Well, that’s just how it’s been for the previous two months as well. I’ve been keeping myself inside as infection rates grow once again, and it hadn’t done me any good at all.
I’m getting back to my walks on my regular routes, so this month should see more of everything. More videos, more enthusiasm in streams, and more articles. One in particular has to do with Power Rangers, as I’ve just recently come across an article on The Hollywood Reporter that has unveiled a bit in regards to the future of the franchise. I’m going to look at the future of the franchise too, taking into account this latest bit of news.
It’s very possible Power Rangers will become a fourth core franchise for me. I’m also expecting news from my three cores this month. There’s already been the start of that for one, with a new Sonic the Hedgehog series announced to be coming next year on Netflix, which is possibly what led to Sonic’s voice actor – Roger Craig Smith – being retired from the cast.
Pokémon Day is at the end of the month, which is sure to bring the next lot of anniversary news with it. That news is sure to bring a trailer for the next main game, which is likely to be a remake of an older one. Or perhaps, a certain collection is true after all. Depending on when the game releases, more information from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga should also be coming soon. I’ll be talking of both when they happen.
Despite playing Hitman 3 last month, there was a lack of a first impressions article. I decided to forgo that in order to talk about the series as a whole – or at least this current trilogy. The story of how I got into it is much the same as with Farming Simulator, so like with that series, I decided upon an experiences article, which would allow me to talk of that story and my first experiences of the series up to this current point.
As for videos and streams, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is releasing this month, and I’m ready to get into it. The Bowser’s Fury content should give a few hours’ worth of content easily able to fit inside a single stream, and then it’ll be onto the main game. If a certain point needs to be reached before getting to the Bowser’s Fury content, I’ll get to that off stream so I can jump straight into the new stuff. There’s every possibility of a full playthrough of the main game as well.
There’ll be a lot more variety this month with those streams, as I’ll be returning to Farming Simulator 19, getting some more Hitman played, along with several other Switch games. There’s also my Friday streams over on the GRcade Twitch channel, which have now started to be uploaded to my stream archive along with those from my own channel. Those are usually focused upon GTA V Online, and should I return to doing them, will be where the streamlists get hosted.
Overall, I expect February to be packed of content to make up for the lack of anything across these last few months, and that will be the same for March and April – which will be bringing a new Star Wars Month of content.
