Yet another Nacon Life game is coming this month, this one being the second from Simteract. Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator is one I’ve been looking forward to a lot since it was first announced. Not often a serious taxi driving game makes the rounds, and not often do games offer a 1:1 recreation of a real location. The sun soaked streets of Barcelona will be lovely to visit and I’ll be giving my experiences of it.
Another game I’ve had my eye on since its announcement is Lightyear Frontier. It releases as an Early Access game this month, and I’ll also be offering experiences on this one. There looks to be a lot to explore with this one. Another fantasy world full of new experiences.
This being March, it is the anniversary of the Nintendo Switch launch, and as usual, I’ll be looking back at the year my Switch has seen. There’s a few games that I’ve covered across the year, but most I have barely mentioned. As such, same as the last few years, those are the games which will get the focus. This coming year for the Switch is seeming a little light, but I’ll still be highlighting a few things at the end of the article.
And speaking of games on the Nintendo Switch, Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons released at the end of last month. While I’m not covering it in an article, it has given me a nostalgia hit for the series. I was planning on doing this at some point anyway, but with my nostalgia high, this is the perfect month to provide a Moonlit Critbit of the series.
And speaking of nostalgia… the Star Wars Battlefront: Classic Collection was announced to be coming to all platforms this month. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Star Wars Battlefront, Aspyr have bundled the two Pandemic Battlefronts together, included all the DLC that released for them, and restoring the online. This is honestly the perfect excuse to talk about these two games again.
It’s been a while since I ported anything from the old site to this new one. I’ve been considering whether it all needs to be brought over. So, I’ll be prioritising concept articles and reviews, and I’ll likely be making posts on social media highlighting some of these older articles as they get ported. Those will be across the year, not only in this month. As for progress on stories, I’ll soon be ready for a first draft of Alternate Halesowen and Beyond Book 4.
