After a quiet one in February in terms of games, March holds a bit more. Wreckfest 2 enters Early Access on 20/March. Having enjoyed the first a lot, it seems only right I jump on this second game as soon as. Whatever content is available right from the start, I’ll be offering up some thoughts on it. If enough content has been added across the months, there’ll be another look during Racing Month in July.

On the same day is Xenoblade Chronicles X. I had considered this back during the Wii U, though back then I had little experience of the series. Having fully completed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 when it released on the Switch, I’m now ready to take a dive into this world of Mira and see what I was missing out on. Being an RPG, thoughts on this one will take a few days. Especially since I want to experience the mechs.

A week later comes Atomfall, the action survival game from Rebellion. I was already interested in this one from it being set in the Lake District, but as I’ve seen more, I’ve been more interested in seeing the mysteries it holds. Which, of course, will involve exploring the landscape that Rebellion have built. I will try to get my experiences out before the end of the month. Especially since April is Star Wars Month.

At the beginning of this month also comes the yearly look at the Nintendo Switch games I’ve been playing. This is likely to be the last one, depending on how many Switch games I buy across its ninth year. Considering there’s very few known releases for the Switch at the minute, there might not be enough to even fill an article. We’ll see when that time comes. For now, there’s a lot I’ve played across the eighth year of Switch, so I’ll be sharing thoughts them all.

In terms of stories, I’m delaying the start of Trials of Gore Fest until the summer. I’ve thought about it, and it fits. The trip to Elan Valley by those of the Gaming Respite community is during the summer, after all. I’ll see about a definitive date closer to the summer, though there’s a strong possibility of it being August. The month I ran the game I based the story on over at GRcade.

What is releasing this month is the next short for The Alternate Extras of Halesowen. Another focus on the secondary group, they’re all at a theme park. And it is time for Grant to discover what his future could hold. That will be coming soon, along with some thoughts on all the stories I’ve released in this first quarter. The preview for Space Race Championship should be this month, too. I held off until the release date was announced. Said announcement should be soon.
