Another busy month in September saw thoughts given on six games and a book. A new short story of mine also released, adding a new story to The Alternate Extras of Halesowen. Which is also seeing a new addition this month, putting some more focus on Carson and his new life. And don’t forget that in December, a new addition to Shorts of the Rula will come.
The fourth addition to The Launch Line-Up of the Switch Successor (In An Alternate Reality) series was also in September, with the last to come in November. And while September didn’t hold any news of that successor (in this reality), the thinking is that October is the month it will happen. This is the fateful month in 2016 where we got our first look at the Switch, after all.
As for games, Europa is the first of this month. A nice chill exploration game, I provided some thoughts on the demo a few months back, so am excited to give the full game a play. The second game is Super Mario Party Jamboree. I’ve been looking at the Mario Party releases of the Switch across the years, but this is the one I’m most confident in. The largest Mario Party yet, and I’ll be offering my thoughts on it.
Then lastly comes Sonic x Shadow Generations. Sonic Generations is one of my favourite Sonic games, and is the one that accelerated my interest in the franchise. So now, more than a decade later, there’s a Shadow story being bolted onto a remaster of it. This section looks pretty great, offering a Shadow-centric blast through the franchise during this Year of Shadow.
Early on in this month marks the ten year anniversary of Star Wars Rebels first airing. I want to offer some thoughts on the series as a whole on this anniversary. I remember clearly first seeing Spark of Rebellion on its first airing, and being invested right from that first episode. Rebels didn’t take long to start telling some great stories, with its end being such a whirlwind of emotions. All that will be expressed in this article about then years of Star Wars Rebels.
This month might seem quiet, but it’s about time I put some focus to my stories. Especially now that I’ve got answers to my breathing issues that have been slowing me down. The rest of this year I’ll be putting plans into action to provide a very great 2025. Stories, concepts, and a whole lot more thoughts on media old and new.
And also, since Space Race Championship is now being traditionally published, I’m making a bit of a change to the pages relating to stories. Rather than being displayed on the front page as ‘ebooks’ and ‘wattpad’, those buttons will soon be ‘paid stories’ and ‘free stories’. How I display information in those pages is also changing, though it won’t be a massive one.
