If you’ve seen the video of Splatoon 2 or a few of my posts on Twitter, you will know that I’ve started streaming on Twitch. It’s taken me an age to feel confident enough in my voice to start, but I feel I’ve gotten over that. I’m still getting used to everything, and my current microphone isn’t the best (but then, when has an internal microphone ever been the best?), so the quality of my voice is still questionable when watching them back.
On each stream I am gaining a bit more confidence to be on air, which brings a bit more confidence in projecting my voice. I am having fun with it, and it allows a direct connection between myself and those who come and watch me playing the things I like. Already I’ve been enjoying races on GTA V, the aforementioned Splatoon 2 during the latest Splatfest, and indeed – Star Wars Battlefront.
This is just the start, as I plan to bring a full playthrough of a game I featured last month on my site. LEGO City Undercover is my current favourite of the LEGO games, with the great humour it has along with the entertaining story and set pieces, and I plan to make it my first full playthrough because of that. At present I don’t really have a schedule, though I am most likely to appear at around 20:00 BST / GMT whenever I do go live.
On the articles front, I don’t have much planned. I will be giving some experiences on a few games, and that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga article that was meant to be posted in June will be up this month, but there’s not a lot going up on the site this month unless there’s news that interests me. October, though… That’s going to be another busy month.
Star Wars Squadrons at the beginning of the month, Dirt 5 in the middle of it, Watch Dogs: Legion at the end. All three will get first impressions articles, and will feature on a video or stream. Along with that… Well, let’s save that for monthly update at the start of October. Just look out for posts on my Twitter for when I go live on stream, as well as new articles and videos.
