Since I’m working on porting all my articles across from the old site to this new one, it would make sense to have some sort of tracking of that for all to see. Progress of such porting has been made, and will continue to be made, so the beginning of these monthly updates will be used to fill you all in on the that progress. At present, all 2012 articles have been ported, with the second half of 2020 and all those of the current year. This month, all those of 2019 and the first half of 2020 should be ported across.
For the new content this month, I will finally be bringing the article explaining the rules of the 1:3:6 ruleset for Pokémon games. Yes, that is the name I am currently settled on for it, but it feels a hard ruleset to name right when it’s up to the individual to choose which two descriptors they are using to construct their team. The full ruleset will be outlined, complete with my experiences from both runs I have done using it, as well as the future one I will be doing as soon as Shining Pearl releases. That playthrough will be an interesting one, since I’ll be going in near-enough clueless.
The other article I’ve previously mentioned is crafting a LEGO Harry Potter game using the mechanics that have been shown and revealed for The Skywalker Saga. The new trailer for that game has given me a bit of a better idea of how to implement them into this concept of mine, so such will be coming next month. Of course, we don’t know everything about The Skywalker Saga, so I am guessing with some of these things, but I’m confident I’ve got the right idea with the implementation.
The last third of the year is here, starting the busy period of game releases. September alone brings Cruis’n Blast, Sonic Colours Ultimate, and Hot Wheels Unleashed. Streams of all three will be happening, with a full playthrough for Sonic. Cruis’n Blast and Hot Wheels will be getting first impressions articles (though the one for Hot Wheels will definitely be arriving in October), with an experiences article for Sonic. It’ll be easier with a very informal approach when talking of that game, I think.
Other streams will include Go Vacation early in the month to look at the marine resort before the summer ends. This one had meant to feature last month, but… yeah. The summer’s really not been kind to me when it comes to streaming, as well as the current problems I’m fighting. Another visit to the stream farm of Farming Simulator 19 will be happening, allowing one last focus on that farm. October won’t be seeing any Farming Simulator, and early November will be a Feeding Cows For Christmas that’s a bit different than those of last year before the one on Farming Simulator 22 returns to the norm for the challenge.
As for videos, I’ll have one on Rush Rally Origins, and a very cut down version of that 1:3:6 run I did on Pokémon Shield. First up, though, is some new races on GTA V Online. One of these races is something I talked about on a recent stream, of how a Transform Race called Tug Life barely features the Tug – a large, slow boat used for transporting cargo. You can see why, then, the race named after it as a set piece is barely featured. So, I decided to even things up a bit with one of my races. The other… you’ll just have to see when it arrives.
