Wattpad is the place to go for the free stories, whether that be fan-created works or original creations. Most of those original creations are short stories, but there is the chance a larger story will come. The first three stories featured here are from across the first two eras of the label, having been deemed good enough by me to be ported over to Wattpad from my old site or – in the case of Crossover Corruption – started to get something new onto the account. The other three are all from the next two eras of the label, seeing more planning put into them as my focus turned fully to writing.

Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles has been worked on since 2012 after the audio between me and Jaz [Paradox Audios] began in 2011. The story on WattPad is now complete, and starts with the Daleks coming into the Star Wars universe. From there, the story of Kronis and DarkRula is told. When the Daleks bring The Doctor into the Star Wars universe, things really get bad, and with the meeting of DarkRula and The Doctor, the two work to rid the galaxy of this new menace – while tackling a few others as well. In twenty episodes the story is told, giving depth into the alternate Star Wars world.

Crossover Corruption was set up as a place that holds the key to weird, wacky, or relatively sane franchise crossovers. It allows stories such as Dolores Umbridge defending Hogwarts against Darth Maul and a droid takeover, Dr Eggman helping the Trotter brothers out of a tight spot, or even a tea party between various foot soldier armies. The book will remain open for additions no matter what, so that all of the crossover stories can stay under the same heading.

The Chameleon Chronicles is set within the Sonic the Hedgehog universe during Eggman’s disappearance after Generations. It follows two brothers as they try to find their sister – who they saw get taken by someone they believe to be Eggman. They run into another chameleon upon their journey, and by teaming up with the ninja master, get taken on an adventure that brings them into contact with not only danger, but also the titular hedgehog and his nemesis as well.

The Alternate Extras of Halesowen is where more stories from Alternate Adventures can happen, all without needing to charge for an extra book. These shorts have already given the full account of all three group films from the first story of Adventures, and Extras will continue to give some more shorts within the period that Adventures takes place. The secondary group detailed will get some time to shine, and a few of the main group will also get new stories. New plot-lines will be added, while still referencing a few of the old.

Shorts of the Rula is the new short story label for my original shorts, and what better way to start than with a story that recreates a day back in 2016, the day after Summer of Sonic. While this isn’t a retelling of those events, it uses the knowledge of them to create a new version of them. Other shorts will sometimes be their own thing, other times basis will be in fact. The cover uses photos I have taken myself over various years as a reflection of that. Of course, not all the shorts have to be based in this world, so there’s room for new places and worlds as well. Only thing that won’t be here is fan-created works.

Yogsimulated sees that wacky cast of characters exploring something new. Bristol. A Bristol where anything can happen. A Bristol that is a fully simulated world open to exploration. The technology had been built within Bristol, so it only made sense that the first world to be created for it be the city, and for the first people to show it off to the public the Yogscast. This story – told across the viewpoints of Lewis, Smith, Leo, and Tom – explores what is possible within this world, with each viewpoint telling different parts of that same story.
