Now, before getting into what’s coming this month, I just need to say this. There’s a reason for all the delays. A reason for the lack of streams and videos when I said there would be. I’d just been denying it to myself. But no longer. For the past month, I’ve accepted it, and now I’m willing to share that reason.
When young, I’d been diagnosed with asthma. Exercise-induced wheezing, it had been described as. So I had an inhaler and was told to keep an eye on things in case it got worse. I didn’t. And secretly, I hoped it never would. To the point I denied it ever could. As such, any breathing problems I looked for any other reason for what the cause of those issues were.
Until the second half of last year, where it was becoming an issue too difficult to ignore. After a bit of urging from friends finally convinced me to take it seriously (yes, I can be too stubborn when it comes to my health as well), I was still somewhat in denial of it being asthma until finally opening up about the truths I had for so long denied. Since accepting it, and since looking back, I see plenty of things from my past that should have alerted me sooner to it.
Since it has been unmanaged for so long, I’m unsure as to all its effects on me, but I’m confident in my assessment to say anything I’m feeling is from how unmanaged it has been. Low energy among them. Which has seen me lower the videos and streams I put out over the last year from 2021. From this point on, there will be no streams until at least winter. For videos, it really will depend on how I feel, so I won’t be talking about them in future monthly updates.
As for what is coming this month, I’d delayed the concept article into this month for two reasons. The first is, having already talked about what I’d like to see from Forza Horizon 5’s second expansion, I felt two concept articles within a week of each other was too much. And second, it fits better to have it published this month. You’ll see why when it comes.
As per the norm, the anniversary of the Switch is here, so it’s time for my usual look at what I’ve been playing on it across its sixth year. Since there’s been a lot, I won’t be talking about everything. I also won’t be talking (much) about those games I’ve already talked of. That leaves more room for me to talk about what I haven’t yet featured on the site.
The end of the month sees The Bad Batch’s second season come to an end. It has been a great season so far, with the finale likely to rival those of other animated Star Wars series. I’ll have my article talking about the full season up as soon as the last episode arrives. While I will touch on that finale, I won’t be going big on the details with it. It’s likely I’ll also have a full season one article going out too, since I missed out on doing that back when that season ended.
And while The Mandalorian’s third season has now started, I won’t be talking about that series until next month. A month that’s going to have a lot of TV & Film content. In a break from tradition, there will be no Star Wars Month this April. Or at least, not officially. More details on that will be within April’s monthly update.
